PostSubject: My introduction to Egyptology   Sat Jun 09, 2007 11:19 am

which may be a tad bold to claim it as such, began with the Saturday morning TV series The Secret of Isis back in the mid 70's. Since the shpw was designed for kids, and it was done in the 70's, any historical elements are going to be severely lacking. But it did open a door for me to at least think about that culture (i.e Egypt) so very long ago. And, finally, after too many years, this wonderfully cheesy blast from the past is coming to DVD in July ( http://dvd.ign.com/articles/791/791969p1.html ).

Oh zephyr winds which blow on high, lift me now, so I can fly
